The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will hold the 10th Annual Riverdaze Labor Day Festival. Saturday, August 30, 10am-6pm, and Sunday, August 31, 10am-4pm. RiverDaze is an Arts & Crafts Show with the art work being hand crafted by the artist. Riverwalk Park is a beautiful area with trees, lawns, benches and walkways along the bank of the Chelan River at the edge of downtown Chelan.

 

RiverDaze features returning artist such as; wooden scroll saw pictures by Richard & Carol Bower, gourmet flavored almonds by Jacquie Bosinger, oil paintings and prints by Diane Paton-Peel, custom design jewelry by Bobbi Hotchkiss, hand made clothes by Shelle Finch, hand made sterling silver jewelry by David Gill, watercolors by Ned Fox, craft button art by Virginia Carter, pottery by Marilyn Wilder, hair claws, custom knifes and cutting boards by Donna Scheunemann.

 

Free parking is available.

VENDOR APPLICATION

Take the family on a train ride through Riverwalk Park with Dr.Wayne. Let the kids play on the inflatables in Riverwalk Park. Enjoy a variety of food items with various vendors.  

 

SATURDAY ENTERTAINMENT

Free, live entertainment on our Community Stage (Riverwalk Pavilion).

Tiller's Folly

2pm-4pm

For over a decade, Tiller's Folly has been captivating audiences with their music, stories and smoking live shows. From the dynamic vocals, driving acoustic guitar and classic songwriting of Bruce Coughlan, through the wild, virtuoso layers of creative color added by award-winning multi-instrumentalist, Nolan Murray, to the solid driving foundation laid down by bassist and vocalist, Laurence Knight, Tiller's Folly is a high-energy acoustic roots music experience like no other.

 

Romagossa Blu'

5-8pm

Romagossa Blú is one of the most recognized and electrifying bands in the Tri-Cities.  A Unique Fusion of rock, jazz, reggae, Latin, and blues. The band has become a hit at wineries, festivals, clubs and colleges, luring people of all ages with its unique variety of cover and original songs.

The Ben Rice Band

1-3pm

The Ben Rice Blues band mixes the soulful heartfelt sounds of blues and the passion and energy of contemporary music. The bands sound combines the innovation of Robben Ford with the soul and virtuosity of Ray Charles. The band currently has three CD's of original music and is best known for their phenomenal stage presence and explosive music. Their sound is a mix of Delta, Chicago and Jump Blues with a touch of Jazz to spice it up. The Ben Rice Blues band has a large reputation around the Pacific NW for continually putting on a show that engages the audience with guitar, piano and sax solos and a stage presence that is unmatchable.
Singer and song writer Ben Rice started playing guitar at 7 years old. At 9 he  played most of the rock clubs in Seattle and Portland with his older brothers. Now at 19 he is a phenomenal guitar player, singer, band leader, and performer.

India Children's Choir Contract

7-8pm

 The heritage of Northeast India tribal peoples is rich in artistry and meaning. Their music and dance have served over the centuries as the means of communicating this heritage, since the people had no written language to preserve their history. Their music is characterized by beautiful harmony, poetic word pictures and strong visual impact.

The India Children's Choir will bless you by:

  • Allowing the audience to personally experience India
  • Bringing a new appreciation for missions
  • Providing an opportunity to make a significant difference today
  • Expanding your sphere of influence
